June 10, 2021 – A Slam-Dunk for Mercury Retrograde!

I have always had a keen interest in astrology, learning about the planets, zodiac signs, and their meanings. After our Party with Pounce corporate launch, I decided to dive in and learn a bit more.  While googling, I found Leslie Tagorda, the founder of New Moon Creative – https://newmooncreative.co/how-to-not-freak-the-f-out-during-mercury-retrograde and I made the time to listen to her Mercury Retrograde in Gemini (May 2021 Update).  Although I have a long way to understand astrological theory, Leslie makes it easy to understand. This is the second Mercury Retrograde starting on May 29 and finishing on June 22, 2021.  By the time you read this, it will be over!

The planet that rules all communication is Mercury, and it is said that all thinking, logic, and technology to communicate, will have issues.  When I asked Google How does Mercury affect technology? Google stated, “Your electronic devices may crash for no reason.”  Read this: https://newmooncreative.co/how-to-not-freak-the-f-out-during-mercury-retrograde/.

If you are into astrology, you might know about Mercury Retrograde and how it will cause havoc with anything digital – your cell phone, computer, essential presentations…oh, did I mention the launch of a new company?

My website designer and friend, Ingrid Schifer, the Alpha of Schif And The City, mentioned Mercury Retrograde, and I didn’t take the time to listen and understand; I had too many deadlines.  She told me that all things electronic would muck up. So, what do I do? I continue to go forward with the June 10, 2021, date for the Pounce Support Services™ corporate launch, our official company coming out party!

So, am I blaming the technical difficulty we encountered during our launch on June 10, 2021, on Mercury Retrograde? That’s a good question.  It is rather something that I will be well-aware of in the future and want to share with you.  I am going to say NO to any hurrying or hustling and I am going to learn how to work with this energy.

I don’t know about you, but I noticed and have experienced too many technological issues over the last couple of weeks – I don’t think it is a coincidence.  These are some of the things that have been happening:

My Apple I-phone 11 dropping calls for no known reason; at least 3-4 times during the week
Difficulty connecting to regular online banking; I couldn’t get into my account – I never have any issues getting into my account
Paying for and downloading a movie on Saturday night; what the beep is going on?
Zoom not putting the meeting information in my calendar
Not receiving emails from my personal email accounts
Losing documents and having to re-create them; time-consuming and indeed frustrating
Eventbrite – adding a ticket turned into creating a new account?
During our launch… we experienced a significant and unbelievable increase in technical difficulty
Attendees were waiting in two rooms; how did this happen?
The event started late by 12 minutes; we were ready to go on time…in the other zoom room
Not able to see the attendees on the big screen – Why?
          The mic crashing, then breaking
Voices breaking up for no reason
A guest speaker had difficulty connecting on Zoom; she called in
Another guest speaker could not log onto Zoom; we managed to see him later in the program

Have you been having these kinds of issues lately?  If so, please drop me a line and let me know that I am not the only one!

Thanks for your time. For more information and dates to look out for – see Catherine Boeckmann’s article here: https://www.almanac.com/content/mercury-retrograde-dates.
