Mirande Alexandre is an accomplished Project Manager, Social Development, Marketing and Sales Consultant, and a Fund Development Mentor with over 25 years of proven leadership with an outstanding record in managing and evaluating horizontal initiatives and building partnerships across federal, provincial, and municipal governments, the private sector, NGOs, and community groups.
Mirande has worked in various capacities for the Canadian and Jordanian Governments and local, national, and international companies in Canada and Mexico throughout her career. Mirande completed her Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia University and a Tourism degree from Lasalle College in Montreal, QC.
Mirande has worked with many businesses, service providers, NGOs, and communities to build sound projects that make a difference and get results! Presently, she assists many stakeholders with:

Imad-Dean Kaddoura is a seasoned veteran with over 30 years of business development, marketing, commerce, and fundraising experience. He is a recognized business development strategist.
Imad-Dean worked with many businesses, including the global multinational trading organization Sumitomo Corporation in marketing and sales throughout his career. He has coached several start-up businesses and developed digital strategic marketing courses, including numerous dynamic digital business and marketing tools for small businesses. In 2000, Athabasca University approached Imad-Dean to teach marketing, business management, commerce, and international business, where he was an instructor for over a decade.
Imad-Dean has also succeeded in becoming a catalyst for growth and development for the not-for-profit sector. He is an avid advocate of social innovation and, by nature, is restless in searching for and exploring creative and cutting-edge innovative solutions of fund development for the not-for-profit sector for the greater benefit of the Canadian society at large.
Imad-Dean holds a master’s degree in Business from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri, and a bachelor’s degree in Business from Eastern Washington University. He also earned a diploma in Executive Leadership in the Non-profit Sector from MacEwan University and a diploma in computer technology from CDI College in Edmonton, AB.

Ron Knol was born and raised in Edmonton and greatly appreciates the city that has given him wonderful and rewarding opportunities throughout his various careers. As per his father’s advice, Ron pursued and achieved post-secondary degrees in Business (B.A. Business Admin.) and Law (U of A) which assisted him in his role in the family’s retail business (major lighting and appliance stores in Alberta).
In 1991, Ron joined a local law firm where he practiced commercial and estate law and, in 1997, became in-house legal counsel for a large advertising firm and its 3 affiliated companies. This also involved acting as the commercial property and leasing manager for a 20,000 sq. ft. historic building with 8 commercial tenants.
Ron’s experience in law and retail management led him to various careers, one of which involved professional sports team management (Edmonton Drillers). He also had the unique experience of assisting with the preparation of the 2008 Olympic Games’ feasibility study for the City of Edmonton.
Ron is passionate about marketing, commercial property management, commercial leases, corporate structure advice, society management and legacy gift planning and enabling “stewardship” of our gifts. He has worked for and volunteered for, numerous charitable organizations including, but not limited to, Cornerstone Counselling, The King’s University, Hope Mission, Christian Stewardship Services, and the Edmonton Society for Christian Education.
Ron can provide information about legacy giving and has provided numerous presentations related thereto. He translates complex gift planning terms into everyday language that we can all understand and appreciate. His expertise includes:

Paavneet Manchanda is a result-oriented non-profit professional with a decade of experience in a diverse range of exciting and challenging projects. Her expertise is in research, grant writing, donor reporting, documentation, and program development. Paavneet has extensive exposure to working with multiple stakeholders, including government, corporations, foundations, small, medium, and large-scale non-profit organizations. Paavneet is dedicated, professional, and passionate about giving back to society.
She holds a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Panjab in India. She is an active member of the Canadian Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). Originally from India, Paavneet resides in Calgary, AB, with her husband and a daughter. Paavneet’s specialties include:

Brianna MacLean is an aspiring public relations professional with a passion for learning, media, communications, pop culture, and volunteering; most importantly, she possesses an unyielding altruistic drive to serve and uplift her community.
A recent graduate of MacEwan University’s acclaimed PR program, Brianna also has a BA in Women & Gender Studies with a minor in Social Anthropology from the University of Alberta. She completed her PR practicum at Pounce Support Services™ as the Cub Brand Ambassador in the spring of 2022 and is absolutely thrilled to be making her epic return as an official member of The Cool Cats!

Kat Mooney has always had an entrepreneurial and youthful spirit. Along with an abundance of energy and creativity when it comes to helping organizations do the greatest good, she shares her knowledge with interns. Her deep-rooted and innate understanding and belief of “we are in the business of helping people” has supported the organizations and people she has served over the almost 30 years strategic approach and motto has always been throughout her work experience, she has always maintained has close to 30 years of expertise in fund development, communications, public relations, marketing, volunteer services, and special events management. She earned and held senior roles within the non-profit and corporate sectors, including Program Manager, Communications and Marketing Specialist, Director of Development, Executive Director, Mentor, and Consultant.
With five years of post-secondary education, Kat received a diploma from Dawson College, took multiple Applied Social Sciences courses at Concordia University, and has a certificate in Public Relations Management from McGill University in Montreal, QC. Kat is currently pursuing her Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE), an internationally recognized fundraising designation.
